Крепкая округлая кошка среднего размера, знаменитая отсутствием хвоста или его укорочением. Голова округлая, глаза большие, уши среднего размера. Тело компактное, с мощной задней частью и более длинными задними ногами; шерсть короткая или полудлинная по варианту, густая и двойная.

WCA Standard (English)
A sturdy rounded cat of medium size, famous for the absence or shortening of the tail. The head is round, eyes large, and ears medium sized. The body is compact with powerful hindquarters and longer hind legs; the coat may be short or semi-long depending on the variety, dense and double.
